Barcelona is currently the 3rd place in the spanish league with 24 points just 4 points away from the leader Real Madrid and 3 points away from second place Villa Real.

There's some hard matches still to come, the next match is going to be against Recreativo which is on Sunday the 25th of November. December will be the toughest on Barcelona as they will play against some strong teams. The first match which is on the 2nd of December will be against RCD Espanyol, after that on the 9th of December they will play against Deportivo, then on the 16th they will be playing against Valencia CF which will be really hard, and finally is the " Classico " against Real Madrid which is on the 23rd of December.

It will be hard beating those teams but they'll have to push themselves hard so they be in the lead and to prove that they are the best and the most powerful club in Spain and Europe too.

FC Barcelona's History

November 29, 1899 was the day FC Barcelona was found on the hand of a man called Hans Gamper where the game of football was still unknown in most parts of the world.
Barcelona for a whole century now has become one of the strongest and most famous club with it's skilled and famous players. Through the whole century Barcelona football club has passed through glorious and painful, brilliant and other less successful moments. But all these moments helped define the personality of this unique club.
Barcelona's first stadium was called Les Corts Stadium. It was built in 1899 when the club was first found by Mr.Gamper. After 23 years in 1922 a new stadium was built, it the famous Camp Nou Stadium that Barcelona's football team still play on.
Through the century Barcelona won hundreds of titles, the most important one is the champions league which they won two times which were in seasons 1991-1992 and 2005-2006. They won the spanish league 18 times, the spanish cup 24 times, the catalan league championship 22 times, the european cup 4 times, and much much more.
